Welcome to Obama House

When was the last time in American history that people painted portraits of presidential candidates (or even presidents) on their houses?

Never.

All hail the icon!

    OMFG.

Dare I hope that someone is going to be repainting their house within a couple of days?

To answer your question, I think it was when the key campaign mottoes were “Log Cabin” and “Hard Cider.”

Or maybe “Tippecanoe and Tyler Too.”

He looks “Blue-ish” for sure. A real Blue Meanie!

    I fear for my country.

In general, I would say liberals are too desperately excited for Obama because of how horrible most consider the last 8 years.

I heard about people putting big Reagan and FDR portraits above the mantle, but this is a new one.

The painting is reminiscent of all those paintings of Saddam around Iraq.

Isn’t Obama against gay marriage ? I have seen an interview where he says exactly that - obviously in mealy mouthed terms.

Of course he keeps quiet about it and the pathetic press never calls him on it.

Seems this strategy is working for him with bozos like this.

Well, they’ve certainly insulted the smurfs when it comes to their choice of color since I heard the little guys were trying to be as non-partisan as possible this time around. xD

Anyways, aside from my lame excuse of a joke, this does put Obamania on a whole new level of worship…

OK, I am an old fart of 62. But, I remember when my grandfather, who was a immigrant from Austria had a portrait of FDR on the wall of his shoe repair shop in the Bronx.

I’ve seen Reagan painted on the house here in Georgia and probably many other places around.
