Back in September I published at PJMedia a big shiny new photo essay about a major “climate rally” in Oakland at which the communists finally stepped out from the shadows and took charge of the environmental movement.

But because I was too busy and lazy and distracted I never got around to posting the report at zombietime, or even making a notification about it here at zomblog — until now.

So, over two months after it happened, I at last present the official zombietime edition of:

Climate Movement Drops Mask, Admits Communist Agenda: People’s Climate Rally, Oakland, 9-21-14

(The original PJMedia version can be seen here.)

A teaser photo to whet your appetite:

Not meaning to defend the indefensible, but methinks the guy promoting animal liberation probably believes that he did indeed liberate the Pitbull he is walking–there is a bit of a movement to “rescue” this particular breed from captors who use them to fight others. The muzzle he is wearing is likely to keep him from snapping off a child’s hand or some such, as these dogs are hardwired to kill or severely injure any other living thing at a whim. The irony is not missed, however…

The socialist/communist themes throughout this fake ecological rally, however, are not a surprise. All of these people, and less strict leftist idealists, wish for total governmental control as they naively believe that more government equals good government. It does not occur to them that government could be corrupt or corruptible.

I say all of these ecoanarchists should be shipped en masse to China, and watch the sunset on a large screen outdoor TV, as the air there is so polluted that the real sun cannot be seen due to the poison fog that envelopes their cities. Then maybe these bedwetters would get a clue. Or, maybe not. They think China is capitalist.

Ah, I didn’t know about the pit bull rescue movement. Thanks for noting that. But it’s still an ironic visual nonetheless!

I wouldn’t characterize the attendees as “ecoanarchists,” because an anarchist — as the very name means in Greek (“an” – not/none; “archy” – ruler/leader) — stipulates that they can not be in favor of “Big Government.”

Unfortunately, many foolish and ignorant young people who think it’s cool to identify as “anarchists” have somehow managed to be seduced by Marxists and their credo of Big Government coercion. Such young stupid faux-anarchists are thus not true anarchists at all, and also couldn’t therefore be “ecoanarchists” either. They’re just useful idiots and tools of Big Marx.

Good point, Zombie. Eco knuckleheads? Eco morons? Eco drones? You get my drift.

Thanks for the post Zombie. What a treat! We have gotten to see the left wing protesting tactics and what you have reported on for years with the renewed protesting from the Ferguson and “I cant breath” New York cases. I even found my own father sitting in with a somewhat more peaceful rally in Evanston (what up dad?).
Agree with Scott’s above post! If these folks got what they asked for they would not be happy (nor would literally anyone else!) I am sure with the release of the Senator Feinstein CIA torture report, all of the crazy, rabid anti-Bush/ war crime call folks will be re-energized and ready to dust off their old protest signs and stuff! Thanks for taking the time and giving us the awesome Zombie spin on our left wing wacko friends.

I find it interesting that the anti-Israel/Palestinian sympathizing movements are so closely tied with left wing causes and the various socialist/communist types of groups are so eager to frame the Palestinian causes so closely as worker type struggles. The original Zionists were about as left wing, socialist/communist as ever existed on this planet. The original Kibbutz model was based closely on Marxist ideals and was as close to working communist community as ever existed on this planet. Furthermore, the radical Islamic values would hardly jibe with most of the leftist and feminists in the crowd who would find the liberal Israeli stances far more in conjunction with their values than the hard line Islamic Jihadists they are so vociferously fighting for.

I know what you mean, Doc. My arguments with Kun hinge on the same observation you make…my belief is that the “modern” leftist is really just a fascist. He/she wants to isolate/vilify a class of people (white Christian men, or Jews/Zionists) and scapegoat them. When did that happen in the last 100 years? Third Reich anyone? Government control of everything…absolute power in the hands of the learned classes…or at least those loyal to the cause.

And of course Nazis proclaimed themselves pro-working class, power to the people folks…they even boldly said their were socialists! This Zombie photo essay is one of many proving the left’s desire to return to a fascist dictatorship. Of course, it’ll be for the greater good, in their humble opinion.

And yet, who is a fairly reliable voting bloc for the Democrats? The very “Zionists” that these people despise. It’s sad how we apparently forgot all of the lessons WWII taught our fathers and grandfathers.

Thanks Scott! Thank goodness for photo journalists like Zombie who document the hypocrisy and misguided, and at times humorous world of leftist protest groups!

I have said for the last 5 years that the whole “climate change”, “Gorbal warming” movement or whatever you want to call it, was nothing more than a thinly disguised attempt to gain control of the means of production and people on a world wide basis.
