Thanks for the essay, Zombie. However, I have to say I already knew of this indoctrination, and lived it as a student in the 1970s and 1980s. My middle school (public) school teachers overtly showed their excitement when Jimmy Carter was elected; one proudly told us about sexual things (in 7th grade English no less), referring to her bra and other underclothes. In High School my homosexual music teacher admonished me for living in the suburbs (as though I had a say in this!)…I was told that it is much cooler to live in an urban environment in and around “culture”. Later, in college, I was told in a sociology class that a black man doesn’t feel pride like a white man…truly bizarre concepts. After graduating I came to realize the professor was indoctrinating me into the “reparations” ideology. Somehow, according to this professor, I was responsible for some straw man black person’s misery and lack of pride. He was setting the stage for me to feel guilty and therefore, I needed to compensate for my oppression…the intolerance of conservatives and those who think differently from the establishment liberals is astonishing. And of COURSE they want Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity or Mark Levin to be removed from the airwaves! Liberal inclusion has no room for conservative voices “filled with hate”! Absolutely these people have no self-awareness. Otherwise they wouldn’t say the ridiculous things they do!

Zombie, my daughters had a ballet instructor who sought to impart her views on various issues during ballet class. I didn’t mind it much until someone reported us to Family Services for neglect - educational and otherwise and then my radar went up as to who could have done it. Since my kids score in the 80th to 90th percentile on SATs, my only suspect is the dance instructor or her friend at the dance studio. My husband and I decided to leave the studio after her negative scrutiny of our family became overt and her solicitation of my children became bizarre. The last straw was when she brought in a thank you letter to a judge. It was written on behalf of the studio and thanked a judge for a ruling she made in a horse abuse case. None of the parents or children attended the court hearing, but nonetheless, were supposed to feel so strongly about the judge’s ruling that they were moved to write a letter thanking her for her ruling. (Groupthink?) My husband called and asked her to stop her scrutiny and solicitation and she refused. We then wrote to the “Board of mothers” and they said that we were the only ones who objected. The kids ranged in ages from 4/5 to adults. My mistake was that I thought the teacher was harmless. My daughters saw through her arguments and her claim to moral superiority pretty quickly. When she told them that she didn’t eat meat, my oldest daughter (10 yrs old) asked her if she would eat meat if she were stranded in a desert. The teacher said no. My daughter didn’t believe her. Her avant garde lifestyle was the authority tha was now being questioned. I thought it was funny. I even smirked when she had the kids dance to “We don’t need no education. . .” and told them parents not to write letters to her. They don’t need her education either:) Well, I am very careful now with delegating teaching responsibilities to liberals, especially if they are activists. Family Services is only a fax machine away and the accusations remain anonymous so cowards can do it easily. –One of my college professors brought in her obnoxious and OBVIOUSLY lesbian lover to our class. We had a few debates, and of course they were all liberal talking points.
–Another was a class on multi-culturalism, and the black professor was so anti-white, it was insulting.
–Another sociology professor (divorcee) bashed men as loud, irresponsible, cheap, lazy etc.
–An ethnic studies class, the white professor was so anti-white I thought she was using a KKK manual.
–My middle school niece told me a “special guest speaker” came to her class to talk about “family.” It was a lesbian woman giving a speech about alternative families. -Parents were not notified of the guest speaker or her agenda.
–Another high school states every morning over the loudspeaker, “We live in a nation of freedom, you can stand or sit if you want during the National Anthem.”
–Yet another professor gave us a report to do, and as usual, it was on the holocaust, gay rights, or slavery. I refused. We had a huge argument, and told her I was going to start and complete the steps for reporting student harassment on campus, she relented.
–The problems with indoctrination are just the tip of the iceberg, you have no idea how far down the rabbit hole it goes.
