{"id":1715,"date":"2011-03-29T03:25:11","date_gmt":"2011-03-29T11:25:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.zombietime.com\/zomblog\/?p=1715"},"modified":"2011-03-29T03:25:11","modified_gmt":"2011-03-29T11:25:11","slug":"obamas-inner-bracket","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.zombietime.com\/zomblog\/?p=1715","title":{"rendered":"Obama&#8217;s Inner Bracket"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recently, President Obama <a href=\"http:\/\/games.espn.go.com\/tcmen\/en\/entry?entryID=4267886\" target=\"_blank\">picked which teams he thought would advance in the NCAA Basketball Championship<\/a>, a process known as <a href=\"http:\/\/thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com\/2011\/03\/19\/obamas-n-c-a-a-bracket-is-one-of-the-best\/\" target=\"_blank\">filling out a bracket<\/a>. The term &#8220;bracket&#8221; in this case comes from the shape of the round-by-round elimination chart which tracks which team won in each matchup.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s all very well and good, but one wonders: Don&#8217;t we all have what is essentially an &#8220;inner bracket&#8221; which delineates our personal hierarchy of priorities, beliefs, behaviors and traits? If there was a bracket which revealed the inner workings of Obama&#8217;s mind, what would it look like?
