On Joel Gilbert’s site, http://www.obamasrealfather.com, in the section heading “Director Q & A” is this :

I spoke with a former FBI informant who told me the May 19th Communist Organization had a weapons training camp in the Catskill Mountains, run by former Black Panthers. In addition, some May 19 members were sent to Cuba for several weeks each year with the Venceremos Brigades, a continuation of the SDS/ Weather Underground program begun in the sixties, for explosives training from Cuban Intelligence, DGI. Obama was in New York City and was involved with the May 19th Communist Organization in the early 1980′s! No wonder there is such a shroud around this time in Obama’s life. This connection leads to so many possibilities, especially that he knew Ayers back then.

I am not a supporter of Obama either.

BUT, I strongly dislike the writer’s attempt to imply there is something wrong with protesting apartheid, something any true American should do, including by assembling peaceably, as the Constitution points out, or by petitioning this or ANY government for redress of grievances.

Apartheid is a grievance – a grievous sin. Shame on the writer for over and over trying to make it appear protesting against it is somehow the equivalent of communism or Marxism. Protesting Apartheid is about as democratic as it gets.

This article just makes the writer look like a bigot himself.
