Interesting. In some ways McCain is indeed unfortunately like Bush, but when the alternative is a repeat of the Carter Era through Obama I’ll take it. Obama has no clue how to be an effective CiC while McCain does. That’s all I need to know.

Mr Chen and Mr. Stevens: I think most liberals would assume that Asians would hate McCain for bombing their brethren. Shows the depth of their thinking, it’s all about skin color and identity politics. I don’t know offhand what the political leanings of the men who died in Vietnam were, but I’m pretty sure that the liberals of today would not fight and die for anyone, not Asians, Europeans, not fellow Americans and not even themselves, pathetic spineless creatures that they are.

Myopia of McCain supporters? You’re kidding us right? Although I do have to admit that being a POW is not a qualification for Commander-in-Chief. You however are blind to the FACT that John McCain has been in public service since your messiah was 15 years old serving in various high level committees and has served his country since before Obama was born. That at least makes him somewhat qualified. Unlike Obama the junior senator from IL who has done nothing, absolutely nothing. Take your myopia crap somewhere else Mr. Stevens. and stop being disingenuous.

Tens of thousands of white liberals dying in Vietnam? Please. Show me the proof. Major of those who died were white, perhaps, but certainly not liberal. They ran to Canada and got pardoned by another white liberal. No, the vast majority of people who served (of any background) just did it because the country needed them. Those who “cut and run” and are cowards dodged the draft or got out of service through various other means. This includes Bill, Dick and George.

Why don’t you drop by any public school in San Francisco, Oakland, Fremont, Alameda, Cupertino, San Jose, Hayward, Berkeley, San Mateo, etc. and see what has happened to the ethnic make-up of students for yourself? Or even at public universities such as UC Berkeley, SF State, etc. Where have all the white (liberals) gone? The answer is to private (mostly-white) schools, of course. In the overwhelmingly liberal Bay Area, actions speak louder than words.

Likewise, Zombie’s pictures of anti-McCain (mostly white) and pro-McCain (mostly Asian) groups speak for themselves. By the way, the McCains also adopted a handicapped girl from Bangledesh many years ago. Again, actions speak louder than words.

White liberals say they are our friends, but are they really? To them, It’s really about maintaining power and keeping us yellow-skinned folks in check through quotas and other political means. Is it racism? Maybe not, but it is certainly not equality.

OK, usually I love your photospreads of the protest freaks & crazies, but this one is seriously streeeeetching it. Other than the requisite weirdos, the anti-McCain people seemed pretty normal, at least as much so as the the pro-McCain people. I’d reckon that McCain is probably going to get out of SF without an attempt on his life. And as for the allegory, I had absolutely no idea what you were talking about until I clicked through to the blog. When I think of “Bush legacy” I think of many things, but “women’s rights in the Middle East” is not really at the top of my list. Less normal people, more crazies next time please!

Oh, and liberals are racist against Asians?! Seriously? I didn’t even know that was on the table… but it is kind of an awesome thing to throw out there. Next up, liberals are biased against cupcakes.

I live in Northern California, next to San Francisco where the gas-guzzling anti-Bush bus buzzed the McCain fundraiser. In this bastion of liberalism (Kerry by 70% in 2004), white liberal parents won’t live in Asian neighborhoods, won’t send their kids to public school with our kids, and won’t even worship with us. It’s called the “new White Flight”. We see you white liberals only on our way to work, and of course, on Election Day–asking us to vote for your white liberal candidates.

What makes you think white liberals would die for us dark-skinned folks? You won’t even send your kids to school with us (http://www.americanthinker.com/2005/12/the_new_separate_but_equal.html).

Zombie, thanks for pointing out that the McCain supporters were mostly Asian. We’re here in US as refugees because the white liberals succeeded in helping communism establish a firm foothold in Asia. I’m grateful that the US welcomed us with open arms. But to Mr. Stevens, we’re not worth saving, like the French, Belgians, Dutch and other white Europeans. That’s just an unfortunate fact of life.
