Would the current double-standard against Israel today, advocated by everyone from Hamas, Fatah, Hizballah, ISNA, MSA, CAIR and even the UN and our own geniuses at Foggy Bottom be any reference?

Ridiculous or not, double standards become the norm when they are the entirety of accepted discourse on the subject.
