To MSimon: If I understand your concerns, the right is undoing the left’s “force” and Trump’s actions are precisely an illustration. For example, at the (figurative) point of a gun, the left imposed “health care” on the population. But some Americans don’t want it. Some cannot afford it. We were told healthcare for all was going to lower prices and make ours a more compassionate society. Everyone was going to be covered. What happened? Well, MORE people are covered, sure. Not everybody. Many opted out to pay fines. But that hill is getting steeper to climb. And even if the fine payers flip to “coverage”, the deductibles are so onerous that they cannot afford treatment! And we all pay more in premiums to cover those in need of subsidies. Therefore, in the end, Obamacare is really theft.

The left forces babies to be butchered in utero, and they are defenseless. And taxpayers have to subsidize it! That particular coercion is at the hands of a court decision…not even a piece of legislation written by “we the people”. That’s pretty tyrannical.

The left seeks out “malpractice” in the lending industry using an unrestricted CFPB to bilk banks out of millions, and all of us pay more in fees and higher APRs. But the government gets theirs. BTW, the mortgage crisis? Created by leftist policy in government starting as far back as Jimmy Carter. Again, at the point of a figurative gun, “Community Reinvestment” was foisted on Banks, where they had to lend money to the incapable. It reached a fever pitch in the 2000s (underwritten by GSEs) when the bubble became untenable. Barney Frank said “no big deal” when the “right” (Republican Congressmen) asked him about the possibility of a meltdown of the mortgage market. He said “no way! They’ve got collateral that always gains value!” Fall 2007: mortgage security meltdown. By law. Written by and for leftists. We all paid in our pensions, 401ks, and with jobs lost.

The “right” just wants our country back. One where the rule of law is followed, instead of ignored or ignored, like Obama did with the GITMO detainees or lack of enforcement at the borders. The real tyranny is when there is all of this screaming about misogyny, homophobia, Islamophobia, racism, etc…when most of the “right” abhors all of that. We want EVERYONE to adhere to the laws, we DON’T want a rogue president to use his phone & pen to restrict our freedoms, and we want to be free to walk the streets without fear of some Islamic or BLM fanatic assaulting us at least, and killing us at worst. Freedom is what we’re after…you, assuming you are a leftist, will benefit from the enhanced freedom promoted by Trump and his followers. Undoing tyranny is “force” that benefits all Americans.
