That’s true, Pervy.
A lot of the radical gay- rights activists act like America’s such a horrible, homophobic nation, but if they want to see some REAL gay hate, they should try living in a Muslim country. It makes what they go through in America look like sweet dreams in comparison.
To give an idea of how stupid some of the ultra lefties are in that regard, I remember during the big brouhaha over Ahmedinejad (sp?) speaking at a college, on Democratic Underground post relating to it, a poster who identified herself as a Jewish lesbian said that she actually had a bit of a crush on him, even though she knew fully well that if they ever met, he’d probably want to have her beheaded!

yes indeed the media brainwashes its audience into thinking of the Israelis as aggressors and Palestinians as victims. But I don’t think that’s how you meant it.

BTW, what is the life expectancy of an openly gay man in Palestine? About 5 minutes, I would guess.

Awesome, zombie. I was there among the pro-Israel/anti-terrorism folk across the street. I’m a young, college-attending person who doesn’t enjoy calling for the destruction of various peoples in the name of “resistance.” I’m also liberal, antiwar, and gay. I’m not good at protesting and I’m not good at making propaganda signs, but I’m so, so tired of hearing about the “genocide” and/or “apartheid” of the poor, defenseless, but totally revolutionary Palestinians, that I had to show up, finally.

Sounds like you come from a similar point of reference. Thank you for continuing to do this, and adding a blog into the mix for your fans to voice their support.
