Sounds the same as when Bush was giving speeches to be re-'elected' in 2004. The difference is there were no riot pigs in sight and no crowds of people were being pepper sprayed. I'm not naive, I know Obama has the power to do the same thing. I wouldn't trust either one of them to lead a country.

Hi Rich B:

I noted your comment:

I would maybe understand a duped second or third generation rich trust fund kid (who has never really worked for a living) but not any working business entrepreneur. The only thing I can think of is those businesses grew so fast, these entrepreneurs don’t understand the many things that governments do to drag down and slow the growth of a more average non- tech slower growing business.

And then I noted the company of one of the uber wealthy Obama supporters. Solazyme. This is so-called "bio-fuel" that requires an activist government to essentially outlaw, or at least manufacture scarcity and prohibitively high "old-tech" energy prices to make their product economically viable. Our Solazyme friend cannot sell bio fuel for less than $5.00 a gallon. But guess who is workingto drive the price of dino-juice well past that? There are quite a few people who stand to become Billionaires from the support of Barry O, Stevie Chu, Carol Browner, and others who not only push the radical environmental agenda, but can enforce it without accountability. What is $35,000 when they will become billionaires after the leftist Obama regime outlaws or at least restricts use of gasoline, diesel, natural gas, and coal?

The ones that really matter are those who can kick in over $35K for dinner. Those folks will provide some serious financial backing. The thing that puzzles me is that most of them have earned their fortunes in a Free Enterprise system that Obama’s policies are aimed to destroy. Why do they still support him?

Your right on that point, Guy Average. I've never been able to figure out why any successful entrepreneur would support Obama.

Its like the so called "robber barons" of the late 19th century supporting the candidacy of someone like Eugene V. Debs! It just doesn't make any sense!

richb: Been missing these photo essays!!! thanks for posting!Of course the fundraising trip to SF isn’t all that much different from the last time. I guess these things don’t actually change all that much, the fun thing of course is the different wacko’s and their delusions (how can some of these people manage to afford to live in SF?). Which there seems to be a big supply of in SF.Its a good thing I don’t live in SF,the nuttiness would make my head explode. The unsold public event is interesting though.Do you think the really, really, really, really far left support of Obama slipping?Or is there just so few of them, that it wouldn’t matter anyway?

Excellent post. The evolving infrequent nature of the posts to Zomblog will be sure to generate a cult following, not that there wasn't one before this, though. I for one still have Zomblog in my blogroll and will keep it there. This is one of the truly unique locations on the Interwebs.

One other thing...does will.i.am have an ID with that name on it? If he does, that would mean that he got it officially changed from his birth name, I guess. I would be willing to bet that it is a California Drivers License. Just sayin'....

Good to see Zombie back with usual keen insight into political protests in San Francisco. Things are a bit too quiet. The Free Bradley Manning songsters at the Obama fundraiser are quite laughable! I like the way their signs were confiscated almost as soon as they were brought out. I am sure that Obama's team is going to get more careful about protecting their guest lists and scouting out potential songsters! I agree that it would seem that Obama's political base seems to be a bit less than energized! Perhaps the reality about Obama has begun to kick in.
