Yes, because jack booting those you disagree with really screams "I believe in the constitution". Stupid first Amendment, if only people did what they are told.

Just like Tea party backed candidate new york Gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino saying that he will use eminent domain to confiscate Muslism owned property really screams "I'm not a bigot"... but I guess government taking property from those who own it is "limited government", right?

Lets not talk about the strain within the tea party who value property rights over human rights, so are willing to excuse private discrimination and racism.

Or how 9/12 project activists strong armed a New Jersey librarian to remove a book for gay young adults without an official challenge or through the official processes. 'Cause freedom is a banned book, right?

Simply put, the actions of tea parties far contradict the tea parties rhetoric, so the whole crying about "we can't be racist cause we love der freedom" will fall on a lot of deaf ears.

Don't tell me you actually believe that white privilege garbage. I had the misfortune of going to college in the 90s and I had to listen to that crap for four solid years. It was 100% idiocy. Tell me exactly what "educational benefits" you get solely because you're white as you claim? I found the exact opposite to be the case. The public education system is now rigged against whites and Asians, with either official Affirmative Action laws in some states or built-in unofficial anti-white+Asian attitudes by teachers and admins.

Didn't take me long to read up on the whole origin of "white privilege" as an academic subject and discover it's just communism under a different name. After that I could see through the brainwashing, and the more they tried to make me suicidal and self-destructive, the stronger my will to succeed.

Academia is divided into two groups: Those who know that the invention of "white privilege" is just a cynical way to break down students' defenses so they can't resist Marxist indoctrination, and those who are so dumb that they actually believe it's a valid philosophy. I can tell from your comments here "Bakunin" that you're in the first group, you know it's a pile of crap, but you think it's a good weapon to use.

Sorry, the white guilt trip has come to its end. You guys (leftists) overplayed your hand and America has called your bluff. The race hucksters have put their cards on the table and they got nothin. A new era is dawning and you race hucksters are part of the Ancien Regime. Hit the high road with your phony self-loathing and your "don't fear the reaper" call for national suicide. The steely stares of the citizenry are silently watching you as you stumble out of town. You won't be welcome back.

Bakunin: There is a bunch of obvious flaws in this piece, and you make a whole bunch of assumptions of the nature of racism and identity that perfectly fit your white privilege.
I see, so I'm the one making assumptions, when in fact it is you who assume that I am white and have "white privilege."

You know nothing about me or what race or gender I am. To discount every word I write because of your assumption that I am white and therefore benefit from "white privilege" which renders everything I say baseless because it is coming from a position of oppression is, frankly, laughable. Since you get to assume I am white and thereby dismiss out of hand all my statements, then I shall do likewise and assume that you are white and that therefore not only are all your statements inherently without merit due to your inescapable "white privilege" but also that you are a world-class hypocrite as well.

I should also point out that your assumption that I am white based on your assessment of my writing style proves beyond any doubt that it is you who are the racist here.

First, On the brown barrets, your completely wrong when you say that “70%-80% of Mexicans are European”.The website you cite as proof that “70-90%” of mexicans are “European” proves it.What it actually says that “70-90%” of Mexicans are Mestizos, that is, of mixed aboriginal and European heritage, while only Around 9-17% of the population is of actual European descent. This is important, because of the role of Spanish colonialism and Mexican Heritage and Mexican identity. To be “European” within Mexican society means that you are probably going to be from the settlers of the colonial families, which means that you are going to be in the upper classes, more wealthy, etc.Due to the Casa system of Spanish America and Spain, there was a hierarchy based on race in which the majority, the Mastizo where lower and middle class, while pure indigenous where genocided. ... The majority of Mexicans would never identify with there colonial oppressors.
If 70%-90% of Mexicans are mestizo, then 70%-90% of Mexicans are descended from Europeans. Period. Thanks for confirming and acknowledging that.

The "class" of anyone's European ancestors, and the possible admixture of Native American genes, in no way diminishes the fact the the very definition of a Mestizo is someone with European ancestors.

It's completely irrelevant whether or not some Mexicans distance themselves culturally from their European ancestors. So do most "white" Americans too. How many Irish-Americans speak Gaelic? How many Jewish-Americans can trace their ancestry beyond two or three generations at most? How many Americans with the last name "Jones" consider themselves Welsh, or European?

You're purposely muddling around and muddying the distinction between genetics and self-identification. Mexicans can believe whatever they want about themselves, and can have whatever definition they want for the word "European," but none of that changes the fact that 70%-90% of them have European ancestors -- which renders instantly absurd the Brown Berets' call for "Europeans to go home," which was my point.

And here’s the most important point: Race and racism are social constructs that are experienced differently by different people. So, when the majority white tea party uses an image of Obama dressed the the Joker, they think they are making a statement like his policies (or himself) are a joke, but to black people they see a call back to the minstrel show.
I see -- so what you're arguing is that each person gets to define what racism means to him- or herself? Interesting. So, if a white person thinks that the very term "white privilege" is a degrading, delegitimizing and racist term, then it must be? And that anyone, such as yourself, who uses the term "white priviliege" is therefore a racist? And that, as is often trumpeted, anyone who denies being racist is obviously guilty of even deeper sublimated racism, so that you Bakunin have no basis on which to deny the charge of racism thrown at you? OK, fine. If that's the way you want society to be, then let it be so:

You, Bakunin, are white. You have "white privilege." You are a racist. And if you deny these charges you are more of a racist.

Those are your rules. We only play by them.

There is a bunch of obvious flaws in this piece, and you make a whole bunch of assumptions of the nature of racism and identity that perfectly fit your white privilege.

First, On the brown barrets, your completely wrong when you say that "70%-80% of Mexicans are European". The website you cite as proof that "70-90%" of mexicans are "European" proves it. What it actually says that "70-90%" of Mexicans are Mestizos, that is, of mixed aboriginal and European heritage, while only Around 9-17% of the population is of actual European descent. This is important, because of the role of Spanish colonialism and Mexican Heritage and Mexican identity.

To be "European" within Mexican society means that you are probably going to be from the settlers of the colonial families, which means that you are going to be in the upper classes, more wealthy, etc. Due to the Casa system of Spanish America and Spain, there was a hierarchy based on race in which the majority, the Mastizo where lower and middle class, while pure indigenous where genocided. Probably not the kind of person who would immigrate illegally to live in USA.

As to the New Black Panthers, The decision not to file a criminal case occurred before Obama was even in office. the charges were dropped on all but one and the charges were reduced in that case months before Obama came to office. More over, J. Christian Adams' has been wildly discredited as a relic of bush-era politicization of the DOJ, which no actual first hand knowledge of the case (to quote Adams himself, ""I don't know. I wasn't there.") Obama DOJ actually obtained judgment against individual carrying weapon at polling place on May 2009, where a default judgment against Shabazz for carrying weapon outside polling station.

But seeing how Fox news has no Black audience to alienate, they can continue pushing all these “reverse racism” nontroversies.

The Idologies of the tea party have always been muddled and rethorical. They don't like Big Governement when Obamas around, but are perfectly fine with 8 years of Big Government under Bush. Of course, then you have the tea party people like Rand Paul, who goes "I don't support racism, but I am tottaly fine with other peoples racism on the grounds of Private Property and Big Government". Enabling others though your policies to be racist is racist, right?

And here's the most important point: Race and racism are social constructs that are experienced differently by different people. What is bizarre about it is: its the Democrats that supported slavery and racism! But most today wouldn't know it (or that the REPUBLICAN party was the anti-slavery party). They have whitewashed it completely. An African American would have been out of his mind to vote Democrat (if he was still allowed to vote that is) in the decades following the civil war. People just don't know history very well.
