When did it become about false science, recriminations, condemnation and scare tactics? About the time that the predatory litigious activist groups, the new age con men, found that they could use it to make themselves rich. People were willing to indulge their inner Catholic guilt, and they willingly donned the hair shirts and castigated themselves – willingly accepted blame for changing the seasons, and believed they affected the very cycles of the planet.

It does seem that as they have turned away from conventional religion, they had to fill the void with this harsher taskmaster – it’s sad – and it is very costly.

The only question now is, can they reverse the punitive and excessive fees, regulations and programs that have been put in place in the name of “Global Warming” and “Carbon Footprints.”

And will Al Gore give back any of the money?

Already, by the middle of the first paragraph, this was starting to read like a horror story. All it needed was an acoustic guitar and a hippie who couldn’t play it but thought he could, and I’d be having nightmares about this post.
